When I think about Mr B. One I think about the 1963 Volkswagen Bug I believe it was and I don’t know what to call that color turquoise? 2 the sign out sheet for box for all the sports equipment that was in his garage that we were supposed to sign out and return but we often didn’t, we eventually lost all our privileges so we learned a little bit about consequences from that lesson he was trying to teach us. I think he was trying to teach us about responsibility and respect and I am sure most of us kids in the neighborhood probably got a F grade on that one. Regardless we did learn a little bit about respect which we hopefully applied to some of the lifelong friendships that we saw develop growing up in Aspen Gardens and have lasted to this very day. I observed the life long friendship the last time I visited with him and my Mom for breakfast a few years back. The last thought I have is I hope that he can meet up with Ralph Otto, Doug Dahl, Jack Calkins and maybe they can settle once and for all the Aspen Gardens Ultimate Horseshoe Championship? Unfortunately I think up there all they will be doing is throwing perfect ringers so they’ll cancel each other scores out, so I don’t know if they’ll ever get past a Zero to Zero score, but I am sure they will be happy with the tie after a little bit of friendly, spirited competition, some trash talk, and a few laughs!

This is my final sign out Mr B. from Brad Dahl, and I swear I don’t know what happened to that baseball glove I signed out, might have left in the field across the street after playing into the dark but I did bring the baseball bat back!
