SUTTON, Patrick Jesse Joseph ‘Paddy Boy’ – We are saddened by the untimely passing of Patrick Jesse Joseph on Sunday April 11, 2021 at the age of 34 in Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by his mother Ann Sutton (2006) and grandmother Antoinette McLaughlin (2012). Survived by his father Albert Sutton (Lisa) of New Orleans, and Daughter, Sadie of Edmonton (as well as her Mother Jessica). Patrick was a devoted father to Sadie Ann Sutton born 2013.
Patrick often shared that his daughter is his entire world, thru memory videos of their time spent together. Our memories of your stories, FaceTime and videos of you and little Sadie ‘lady bug’ will be cherished memories.
Patrick was born in New Orleans moving to Niagara Falls Canada where he spent most of his childhood and early teens with family and close friends.
Patrick settled in Western Canada where he worked as a cook and eventually advancing as Chef on the oil rigs. He had quite a passion for cooking.
Patrick enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, and loved hockey and football.
Patrick will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Patrick’s family meant the world to him. He would often talk about his Irish roots and how proud he was of his family especially his cousins who he kept in touch with on a regular basis to wish us well and keep us updated with his life as a father. We will miss his long talks about memories of his Mom who he missed dearly. He often said that Sadie is just like his Mom, and that made him proud.
Patrick’s friends describe him as kind, generous and a very awesome person to talk with, he really loved his family and his friends. Adding that Patrick was a guy you could message or call and talk with about absolutely anything, to alot of people he was like a brother. He was and will remain one of a kind.
Patrick’s family and childhood friends from the Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada mourn Patrick’s sudden departure; a life cut too short, and remember his time spent in his company will forever be cherished.
Patrick has been cremated and funeral arrangements and celebration of his life will be determined at a later date due to Covid pandemic restrictions.

R.I.P Patrick
Patrick I don’t want to believe you’re gone. I love you. You know you were one of my very best friends. You were the sweetest person and I wish you could’ve come back to visit us in Louisiana. I was waiting for you. You were one of the proudest parents I know. I knew that was you on Facebook when I saw that picture of Sadie. I miss you already. And I wish I could tell you in person, Happy Birthday.
RIP Patrick, this saddens me, love you
