So hard to believe you are gone, you fought this battle so hard and with such determination and grace. I’ll miss our random lunches and of course texting pictures to Trina while she was working of our mid-day beers!! Your random visit to the house with Wilder. My favorite memory is our trip to Jasper playing ladder ball and your love of the pina coladas. Every time we have pina coladas while camping we will think of you and your pina iguanas. Forever missed and loved my friend rest easy till we meet again.

I still don’t have the words but I really need to express how your kindness saved me, I’m not exaggerating. We met shortly after I had relocated to Ardrossan. I was a very weird human (I still am) and I had extreme difficulty making friendships due to this. I was relentlessly bullied in school and was so very lonely.

When Keela first introduced us, boy was I nervous. I so desperately wanted to make a good impression. You immediately accepted me for me and you always treated me with such profound kindness. You never judged me. You love and accepted me for me, faults and all.

I always held that kindness close to my heart. You had a smile and energy that just lit up any room you were in.

Thank you for being such a beautiful gift to so many of us underdogs. I know for a fact that I’m not the only one that your kindness had an impact on. I love you so much my friend. You’re so very missed.
