It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Robert Jandrey, who left us on July 26, 2025. He and his generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Eric was predeceased by his father, Hans; and two brothers, Ron and Robin. He is survived by the mother of his children, Brandy; his two beloved children, Joseph (Dallas) and Ronnie (Luca); Uncle Dana, and his dear mother, Karen. His family meant everything to him, and he carried their love with him in all he did.
A skilled and hardworking boilermaker, Eric spent many years in this trade.
Outside of work, Eric found peace and joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially bike riding through the beautiful trails of the Edmonton River Valley. It was there he felt most free, connected to nature, and truly at home. He also had a passion for cooking, finding both comfort and creativity in the kitchen. In addition, Eric was dedicated to bodybuilding, taking pride in caring for his physical health.
He leaves behind memories full of laughter, love, hard work, and quiet moments on two wheels. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the places he loved most.
A service will be held for family and friends on August 14, 2025, at 2pm at the Norwood Legion, 11150 82 St NW, Edmonton, AB.
Rest easy, Eric. You rode your path with strength and grace.
