It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Frederick Helm on August 1st, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 55.

Kelly was born on April 22, 1970, in Medicine Hat, Alberta. He lived a life full of quiet strength, kindness, and a deep love for those close to him. He was a devoted husband, a loving brother and son, and a cherished friend to many.

Kelly is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Kari Lamoureux, and their treasured fur baby Beanzie, who brought them so much joy. He will be deeply missed by his brother Warren Helm (Mary), sister Angie Stasiuk (Kevin) and Brother Toby Weishaar (Annie), and his parents Lori and Jim (stepdad) Weishaar. Kelly was a proud and caring uncle to Jaida Stasiuk, James Stasiuk, and Cohen Weishaar.
He was predeceased by his father, Harvey Helm in 1977, and grandparents.

Kelly’s life was filled with quiet passions, he was known for his amazing sense of humour, big heart, and loyalty to those he loved. His bond with animals, particularly his fur baby cat Beanzie, reflected his gentle nature. He will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kelly’s memory may be made to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute or the Edmonton Humane Society, two causes close to his heart.
