It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynda Ditchburn, who left us suddenly at the age of 71, after a long journey with health challenges.

Lynda was born and raised in Ontario, where she built the foundations of a life marked by resilience, warmth, and a deep love for her family. For the past 20 years, she made her home in Alberta alongside her devoted husband Tim, creating a life filled with laughter, compassion, and quiet strength.

Lynda is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Fern Amos and sister Debbie Lawson. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Kaye Cousins, Mary Brunshaw, Ruth Graham (Bob), Ernie Amos (Lori), Lois Babcock (Ken), and Rachel Quirt (Richard). She is also affectionately remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Lynda will be forever remembered by her loving and extended family, including her son Walter (Suzanne, grandson Ayden), daughter Erika (Jared), daughter Caitlin (Scott), and stepson Leon (Lori). She cherished her family deeply and was a steady, loving presence in the lives of those she held close.

Despite the challenges she faced, Lynda lived with grace and perseverance. Her strength, wit, and caring spirit touched everyone who had the privilege to know her.

A memorial will be held at a future date with close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to hug your loved ones and hold them close — just as Lynda would have wanted.
