Deyky Mena, 38, of St. Paul, Alberta, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. Born on March 21, 1987, in Aguilares, El Salvador. Deyky was a beloved girlfriend, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.
Deyky loved to dance in her red shoes and summer dress, she had a spicy and sassy personality.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Shawn, her children, Abby and Damoin; her parents, Marcelino and Lorena; her sisters, Vicky and Mayra; her brothers, Bayron, Nestor and Jorge.
A celebration of Deyky’s life will be held on September 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Simple Cremations & Funeral Services , 5224 99 Street , Edmonton, AB.
Her compassion and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
I was so happy to talk with you I told Amy all about you n ur lil sis with ur beautiful eyes in the prettiest dresses how you looked like dolls you were so stinkin cute! I told her I was excited to talk to you again n that we’d stop by ur place for a coffee when we drive to Ft.Mac. Today my mom called me n told me she was in shock because your Aunty Evelyne just told her you had passed away. I don’t understand Deyky. I thought u were okay at the hospital. I’m so sorry sweet beautiful Deyky. I can only believe you are at peace now and without suffering. You are the brightest angel with stars as your eyes, as on earth your eyes and smile were heaven to everyone that knew you. My deepest sympathy for your mom n dad n siblings,
