Eunice Alexandra (Sandy) Ramsley
June 3, 1935 – April 7, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Eunice Alexandra (Sandy) Ramsley (nee Reid), on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the age of 90.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Alana (Matt) and grandchildren Alexandra and Kayla, and Alison (Louise). Sandy was predeceased by her husbands Allan Ramsley and Jerry Way, her partner Roy; her parents, Alexander and Nina (Kay) Reid; and her sisters, Margaret Elizabeth (Betty) Robinson and Sheila Kathleen Buchanan.
Born in Calgary and raised in Beiseker and Morinville, Sandy later settled in Edmonton, where she built a full and meaningful life. She was passionate about nursing, golfing, curling, dancing, and volunteering, and will be remembered for her warmth and caring spirit.
A Memorial Service, followed by interment, will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Anglican, 12116 102 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta. A luncheon will follow in the hall.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Lewis Estates and Capital Care Lynnwood for their compassionate care and support over the past few years. Special thanks as well to Remy from Comfort Keepers, your kindness will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
