Born in Montreal, the daughter of a Serviceman, lived in Halifax, Winnipeg, and Brandon, before settling as an adult in Sherwood Park, AB where she lived for the majority of forty years.

While raising three small children, Lynne put herself through school and had a short career with the Provincial Government. She went on to open her beloved “Village Pizza” restaurant, where anyone who visited were treated as family. Lynne was a fervent sports buff, and enjoyed cheering on her favorites in curling, figure skating, and hockey – and was a long-time supporter of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Team.
