On August 4th, 2023, Colin passed away peacefully while
surrounded by those who loved him. He was 33.
Colin had a strong love of nature and when he wasn’t enjoying the great outdoors he was fully immersed in car repair. He wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and no mechanical challenge was too big to take on.
He was proud, passionate, and fearless. His passing leaves a deep emptiness for those who knew and loved him.
Colin is survived by his girlfriend, Dianna Wolf; his parents, Rebecca Wilfong and Greg Bolig; stepmother, Lisa Bolig; his grandparents, Joseph and Olga Bolig; his sister Collette Bolig (Joe); his step siblings, Anthony and Camille Carlow; his Aunt, Leanne Morrow (Ken); his niece, Madelyn; his cousin Quinn; and numerous other family members.
Also left to grieve are his two dogs, Reese and Mars.
The family would like to express extreme gratitude for the courageous efforts of the
responding EMS team. We also extend the deepest thanks to Dr. Hudson, Taylor, Hannah, Lisa (spiritual care), Father Chad, and the rest of the staff on unit 24 at the Grey Nun’s hospital.
Any memorial donation made to Brain Injury Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
