Dennis Raymond Starchuk
October 8, 1951 – April 9, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we advise of Dennis’ passing. Dennis passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta hospital in Edmonton, AB, surrounded by family.
Dennis leaves to mourn his wife Wendy of 45 years, 3 sons Dean (Chantel), Cameron (Kari) and Daniel (Chantel), along with 6 Grandchildren Hailey, Jayden, Austin, Ryan, Rylan and Davis, as well as 3 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Father Steve and Mother Sadie.
Dennis loved watching his kids and grandkids at their sporting events. He loved Family get-togethers to play cards and did lots of camping in his younger days.
Dennis enjoyed travelling with his wife, close friends and family on various trips to Vegas, Hawaii and Mexico. He enjoyed family BBQs, watching curling and hanging out with his 2 furry friends: Ryder and Niko.
His smile and contagious laugh will forever be in our hearts.
As per Dennis’ request, there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the JDRF foundation.
A special thanks to the Healthcare Teams at the Royal Alex and UofA CCU for their attentive end of life care.
