It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald “Wayne”Mitchell announce his passing on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the age of 90 years.
Wayne will be forever missed by his family, wife of 65.5 years, Margaret; two children, Doug (Caren) and Teresa (Steve Ball); five grandchildren, Amanda (Sumantra), Calvin (Katie), Alycia (Ryan), Evan and Ava; four great grandchildren, Kiren, Kaden, Sophie and Rosie; as well as many extended family and many dear friends.
Keeping with Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
