Earl Howard Courtney
(January 12, 1944 – July 29, 2024)
Earl Howard Courtney of Sherwood Park, AB formerly of Calgary and Medicine Hat AB passed away on Monday July 29, 2024 at the age of 80 years.
Fondly remembered by his wife Val Courtney of Sherwood Park and his sons Michael (Ellen) of Victoria BC & grandson Sebastian, and Christopher of Courtenay BC & grandson Ryder, and his step-daughters Paula (Rob) of Medicine Hat & grand daughters Kaylee and Inara, and Carla (Simon) and grandkids Ole, Jasper and Samantha, his brother Bill of Cobble Hill BC, his sister Joan (Doug) Endres of Sherwood Park, and his brother-in-law Doug Baker of Dried Meat Lake AB. Earl was pre-deceased by his parents, Dora and Howard Courtney, his sister Sharon Baker and his brother Donald Courtney.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am, Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Glen Allan Recreation Complex ( 2nd floor lounge) 199 Georgian Way, Sherwood Park AB T8A 2W9
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
