Elmer, Robert Szlabey On April 13th, 2021 Elmer Szlabey, also known as Bob Szlabey of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 80 years old. A visitation will be held at Simply Cremations, 5224 – 99 Street Edmonton at 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Uncle Bob, You will be greatly missed by all your family, and especially all your friends. We love you. Always told my kids I had an Uncle Bob. I got the minion tshirt and everything. Great movie too. Last time I saw you at a toys r us with your brother Don. Rest easy.
I wish I had known that you were seriously ill so that I could have got to see you one more time. We had been friends since 1955. I believe I did your income tax return for the last 25 years. I enjoyed your stories of searching for a lost gold mine and your many other adventures. We had some really great times at Norm’s Pub in the 80’s. I will really miss you. Rest in Peace my friend you will always be missed.
I DID NOT FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR DEATH UNTIL TODAY. i WAS WONDERING WHY YOU DID NOT COME DOWN THIS YEAR TO GET YOUR TAX RETURN COMPLETED. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. OUR FRIENDSHIP LASTED FROM 1953 UNTIL THIS YEAR. REST IN PEACE BOB.
