Our beloved Jackson Dane Joseph Freeman tragically left us too soon at the age of 25 on July 9th, 2024. Loved and missed by his mother Janet Dahl Freeman, his father, Leonard Joseph Freeman (Patty), his brother Kole, sister Morgan (Kyle, Merrick and Carver), sister Madison (Konrad), grandmothers, Deanna Dahl and Adrienne Freeman, and numerous aunts uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. Jackson’s passion for life touched all who knew him. He was a ray of sunshine with a generous heart and infectious smile. Contributions to “Jump Start”, a cause close to Jackson’s heart are appreciated. A memorial to celebrate Jackson’s life will be held on Saturday, September 14th at 4:00 p.m. at the Moyer Recreation Centre in Josephburg, Alberta.

I coached Jackson back when he was 8years old with Sherwood Park Titans and through out his minor lacrosse. It was a pleasure to coach Jackson when he was younger. He will be missed, I would like to send my condolences to Janet and the family
I am so sorry for your loss Janet. Jackson and I had met in 2019 at a music event. We bonded instantly as my mother’s name is also Janet. We had a timeshare in fairmont as kids in my family at marble canyon as well to further strengthen the similarities. Jackson invited me to come visit sometime however I never got the chance, he was such an amazing friend to me, his love was precious and his generosity was unmatched. I will be praying for your peace and comfort, and to give you strength in this unimaginable time… he was truly one of a kind.
Jackson, your optimistic outlook on life was contagious, genuine and selfless, you were UNIQUE in every way. You would help anyone in need if it came down to it. I’ve never met such an empathetic and caring friend. Your departure is an ache that will be impossible to mend. But your spirit will stay with me forever. You were a very good soul that deserved the best in life. I pray your family can find peace, knowing that if anyone deserves to be in Heaven, out of all people it would be you Jackson. I love you, and you will be missed. I will never forget your heart warming soul my dear friend.
Till we see each other again , and may your beautiful soul rest in peace.
Alexander
I’m so sorry for your loss, words can’t express the sadness I feel.
So sorry for your loss
All my heart-felt sympathies to Janet, the family, and all these Jackson touched. Sending love and light.
Thoughts of love and healing to all of Jackson’s family and friends.
Jackson lit up the room of any social gathering we visited. Witty, caring and a hell of a good time to be around. We were cousins but he was my brother and always will be. My life will always feel a little more empty without you in it. Jackson I love you and I’ll miss you.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Sending lots of love and prayers your way during these tough times
