It is with great sadness that we, the family of Angela Kerr announce her quiet passing at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton after a short illness.
Angela was born in Austria and came to Canada with her mother, Christina Ofner in 1933. Mother and daughter were united with her father, Herman Ofner in Edmonton.
Angela was the oldest of four children and was kept busy with life in the “Flats” and walking up and down the stairs at Grierson Hill.
Angela met her husband, Ken at the popular roller skating rink in Edmonton in 1951 and together they built a family. Angela enjoyed a long and happy life in Edmonton.
She was predeceased by her husband Ken. Angela will be missed by her sister Emma (Schmalfuss) and her three children: Richard, Christine (Costanzo) and David, Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Angela enjoyed her final years at the Allen Grey Lodge. The family is grateful for the care and companionship that Angela received there.
