Doreen passed away suddenly at home in Edmonton, Alberta. She is survived by her two sons, Kellie Crowell and Rory Crowell and Rory’s wife, Lisa Moldaver, and her two cats, Missy & Pokey. Doreen was born is Bend, British Columbia and lived all over B.C. and Alberta during her lifetime. She has many surviving family members back in B.C. along with many close friends in both provinces. Doreen always looked out for everyone she met and she had an amazing quality of a caregiver: she was selfless. She put everyone before herself in all possible ways and she always had a smile or a joke to offer too. She will be dearly missed by all of us and all of those she would have helped.

We remember Doreen from Family Christmases at Rory’s and Lisa‘s house. She was a lovely lady who went out of her way to make you feel at ease. Doreen always insisted on bringing one of her famous delicious desserts for these occasions and they were always welcome.
In good times and bad no one tried harder to make things better for others who needed help. Rest in peace, Doreen. No one deserves it more.
Rory, please know we are thinking of you and sending you love at this sad time.
