With heavy hearts and great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at the age of 94, who passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Her memory will be cherished by her dearly beloved husband Walter; three weeks shy of their 70th wedding anniversary.

She was survived by her brothers Jack and Con and sister Julie, husband Walter, children Karen, Rod, Nekkola Lynne (David Isinger), Dawn, Greg, Colette (Peter Clarke), Jacoline Wanda (George Liersch), Brendan (Gail Schroh) and Curtis. She was predeceased by her son Wally (1983) her daughter Valerie (2004) and grandson Seann (2012).

Betty was a gentle, kind hearted women who had spunk and would break out in song and dance whenever her heart prompted.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

  1. Dearest precious loving Mom,

Momsya,Momzie,Momzie-Womzie all the pet name’s you were given because you were extra special….beautiful inside and out.
God always knows what He’s doing especially when He created you Mom!

You were so unique a Woman of many talents and skills I won’t get into details though you lived a full life. I remember your wonderful laugh-for all those that knew you or even had the briefest moment in your presence could see that our dear Lord had his hand on you guiding you protecting you giving you strength knowledge and wisdom His light shone upon you Mama.

You had so much courage and strength and you tackled everything with grace and dignity .You definitely had your share of trials and tribulations yet your love for God never ceased if anything grew stronger. We know you loved to pray attend church I remember sitting and standing beside you Mom and Dad many times…glancing over at the two of you I could see God’s grace at work. How you both enjoyed singing the hymns praising and worshiping our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Your face so friendly a beautiful smile and bright welcoming eyes.

You loved the Mother of God and praying the rosary me too! A lovely way to relax and reflect on the mysteries and life of our Lord.
