It is with great sadness we announce that Elsa Joy Catherina Schacher passed away at the age of 70 on December 11, 2025. Joy is survived by her brother Arlee (Jennifer), sister Gayelynn and nephews Anthony, Adam, and Dustin. Joy was predeceased by her mother Loretta Yakubow, and father Elmer Schacher. Cremation has taken place .The service for Joy will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic Church In Chipman Alberta on September 12, 2026. Dinner and fellowship to follow. Joy will be forever in our hearts.
