Therese Marie Ballantyne Obituary
It is with the deepest sadness that our family shares that Terry (Therese) Ballantyne has passed away after a very short battle with cancer. She spent her life making everyone’s time on this earth special and fulfilling. A pioneer for women in the sports business, working on sports properties involving the CFL, NHL, NBA, NFL, Hockey Canada, Canada Games, and prior to retirement the Oilers Entertainment Group. Terry was a hospitality expert and excellent host with the strongest attention to the finer details of the craft. A loving mother, best friend, and an amazing partner. She was sincere, caring and known for her infectious laugh, generosity, mischievous smile and glowing spirit.
The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the health care professionals and specially those at the Pilgrims Hospice for your care of this amazing woman.
