She is also lovingly survived by her 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and her dear sister, Sister Edith May McConnell.
Mary Ellen Legault was predeceased by her loving husband, George Legault, and her daughter, Georgette Legault. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucinda McConnell; her sisters, Alice McConnell and Florence Albert; and her brothers: Robert (Nellie), Leonard (Edna), Gordon, Hughie, Kenneth (Eileen), Donald, and James (Muriel) McConnell. Additionally, she was predeceased by her sons-in-law, Michael Pawlowski and Wayne Smallwood.
This is in loving memory of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a woman who was artistic, a wonderful seamstress who sewed clothes for her children growing up often with her own design, and a wonderful baker of bread and sweets. She lived all of her life independently. We have chosen not to lose our Mom and instead gain an angel. She remains in our hearts and minds and in our lives to this day as wise, compassionate and stubborn as ever.
