Adele Marie Hagan
April 18, 1938 – August 19, 2026
Adele was born on April 18, 1938, in Bonnyville, Alberta. Her life began in the small Alberta community and would grow into one shaped by adventure, family, friendship, faith, love, and the many people who became part of her story along the way.
Adele was a woman of deep faith, and that faith remained an important and steady presence throughout her life. It carried her through times of great joy as well as profound loss, and gave her strength and comfort throughout the years.
Adele was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim, her son, Gerry, her grandson, Legend, and her dear friend, Ted Hill. Each held a special place in her heart.
She leaves behind family and friends who will remember her in their own ways, through stories told, memories shared, and much laughter.
A funeral celebrating Adele’s life and faith will be held at St. Joseph’s Basilica on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Together, family and friends will gather to remember Adele, give thanks for her life, and entrust her into God’s care.
Following the Mass, family and friends are warmly invited to remain at the Basilica for a reception with light refreshments and an opportunity to visit, share memories, and celebrate Adele’s life together.
