David Stefaniuk passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2026, after several years of health challenges.
David was a truly unique soul with a heart full of love for his family. He took great pride in his sons and extended family, and he continued working in gas measurement right up until the time of his passing.
Born to Grace and Ben Stefaniuk of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, David was a devoted family man. He is lovingly remembered by his cherished wife, Rose; his three sons: Steven (Emily), Michael (Kieran), and Christopher (Carlee); his four granddaughters: Oaklee, Paislee, Laynee, and Evelyn—with a little sister expected in April. He will be dearly missed by his close friends and many family members.
David had a special love for animals, particularly dogs, and he especially adored his beloved “Naters.” His quick wit and distinctive sense of humour brought endless joy and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his two sisters: Nancy Buchko (Richard) and Joy Regnier (Dave); his aunt Edna Stefaniuk of Winnipeg; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
David’s legacy of unwavering love, humour, dedication to family, and affection for his furry companions will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
