In Loving Memory Of Maurice “Moe” Courtemanche

Maurice “Moe” Courtemanche, age 72, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away surrounded by love.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Moe spent his life deeply rooted in the community he called home.
Moe was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Wendy, and a proud father to Christina, Hollie (Dennis), and Cody. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren—Aiden, Payton, Brennan, Brett, Quinn, Ava, and Aubrey. Moe lived for his grandchildren and was their biggest supporter, loudest cheerleader, and most reliable presence. Whether it was school events, sports, or everyday moments, Papa was always there.

Known for his generous heart, Moe volunteered his time often and had a natural way of making sure everyone around him was taken care of. He put others first without hesitation and believed strongly in lending a hand wherever he could.

Moe loved games—especially cards—and while he enjoyed a good laugh and friendly competition, anyone who played with him knew to keep a close eye… because he also liked to cheat just a little. That playful sense of humour and mischief will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Moe’s kindness, dedication to family, and unmistakable personality leave a lasting legacy. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In keeping with Moe’s wishes, no service will be held.
