It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Alexander McLeod on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the age of 81. Rick was born on April 9, 1944 in Edmonton, AB, the eldest of 4 children to Alex and Eileen McLeod.
Rick worked for the family business (McLeod Tractor Parts) and had a passion for how things worked, especially engines large and small.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Marielle and her sons Doug (grandson Kale)and David. Rick’s son Chris (Lizzie)and grandchildren Ian and Ella; his sisters Norma (Allan) and Kate (Miles), nephew Cameron(Leah). Rick was predeceased by brother Bruce in 2022.
It was Rick’s wish that there would be no service at this time. Rick will be deeply missed and will be remembered for his warmth and generosity.
