December 27, 1935 to February 28, 2026

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) John Bolig from Tramping Lake, Saskatchewan At 90 years of age in Edmonton.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Olga and his children Greg (Lisa) and Leanne (Ken) and his grandchildren, Collette, Quinn, Camille, Anthony (Shayla), great granddaughter Madelyn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Dorothy, siblings, Barbara, Edward, Helen, Raymond, Albert and Grandson Colin.

Joe loved being on the road and watching the world outside the windshield whether that was going camping and fishing or for work. He was always game for a road trip. The road is quieter without him, but we know he is enjoying the highest road where the skies are clear and the ride never ends.

Celebration of Life to be determined.

It comes with great sadness to hear of Joe’s passing. I always enjoyed my visits with Joe whether it be out at the farm at Round Hill, the Bruce Stampede, the Ponoka Stampede, the chuckwagon races at Bashaw, it was definitely something that Joe enjoyed. I would like to extend my deepest and sincerest sympathy to you all at this time.
