In Loving Memory of
Michael Anthony Orvis
February 12, 1959 – October 24, 2025
Michael Anthony Orvis, age 66, was welcomed into heaven on October 24, 2025. His life was filled with laughter, warmth, and a love that reached far beyond himself.
Michael had a way of lighting up every room he entered. His presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging to those around him. A hardworking man, he took pride in what he did and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—especially cheering on the boys in blue and orange, the Edmonton Oilers.
Above all else, Michael’s heart belonged to his family. He is survived by Carol Orvis and Melanie Taylor; his sons, Dustin, Shane, and AJ; and his beloved grandchildren, Karma, Lexxus, Truth, Donovan, Quinton, Ethan, Jade, and Elena. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and the love he shared with them was deep, constant, and unconditional.
Though he has gained his wings, Michael’s spirit has never left us. He walks beside us in memory, surrounds us in love, and reminds us that true love never fades—it only changes form. His legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and a love that will carry on forever.
Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the life of Michael and the love he shared with us. Please wrap Your arms around all who grieve today and bring them comfort, peace, and strength. May Michael rest in eternal peace, surrounded by Your light, and may his love continue to guide us until we meet again. Amen.
