It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Paul Pender, who passed away on July 4, 2025 in Edmonton at the age of 61. Patrick was born on December 12, 1963, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He moved to Alberta for several years before moving to British Columbia, where he built a career as a long-haul truck driver. Over, the years, he carried countless loads across Canada-including chickens, which became a lighthearted story he enjoyed sharing. Patrick will be remembered for his warm sense of humor, his love of motorcycles, lasagna, and his enduring faith. In recent years, some of his happiest moments were spent with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy and comfort. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A cremation has already taken place and a gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Patrick’s life.
