It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Murray Koch of Edmonton at the age of 99 years.
Ralph was born March 3, 1926 in Wasbank, SK. His family moved to Taber, AB in 1942 and that is where he met Katherine (Kay) Biegler. They were married on Nov 10, 1950 and had 70 years together.
Ralph is survived, and lovingly remembered, by his son Calvin; daughter Heather; grandchildren Crystal, Christopher, Dusty, Trevor, Mandy and Michael; great-grandchildren; cousin Vern; sister-in-law Gladys and numerous nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents Orvan and Lattisha; wife Kay; son Brian; sister Doreen; daughter-in-law Sheila; grandson-in-law Mike and numerous brother & sister in-laws.
Ralph’s mind was still sharp as a tack at 99 yrs and he wanted to make 100 yrs, but his body was tired. He passed away peacefully at home on Dec 31, 2025. He is once again with Kay and Brian, whom he missed terribly.
No memorial will be held as per Ralph’s wishes. Ralph’s, Kay’s (and Sheba’s) ashes will be scattered in Arizona as per both their wishes. Rest in Peace Dad and thanks for taking such good care of us over the years and for being our best friend. We love and miss you. Say hi to Mom & Brian from us.
