Richard was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A welder for over 50 years, he lived with strength, dedication, and quite pride.
At every gathering his humor lit the room; Rum and coke in hand was his favorite drink; His shelves overflowed with National Geographic treasures, because the world was never big enough for his dreams.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Minerva; his son Dave (Megan), Vince and Jason (Megan); and his cherished grandson, Miles.
Richard courageously faced Parkinson’s disease in his later years.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
My condolences to you Minerva, and the boys and family. Richard will always be remembered with very fond memories. When we were neighbors in Clareview Village he was always good to my teenage children. I will always be grateful for that.
I am so very sorry for your loss. We lost Don on November 4, 2025, so I know what you must be going through. My prayers go out for you and your family.
