  1. I loved him and will miss him. My family is saddened by his loss. My kids remember him as an uncle. He was one of the kindest men I knew. We had alot of great memories and laughed alot together. One of those cherished memories was his nickname “Batfleep”. I will forever miss his loss. May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Deb, Sara, Seth, and Rick’s family.
I have so many happy memories of camping with Rick and Deb, the fondues we had out camping, and fishing with Rick at the many campsites he would map out for the “best” fishing. Forefront in the memories is camping at Strachan Campground and Kananaskis. I still remember Rick’s hearty laugh; it was like no other.
Kudos to Doug for the compassion, care, and most of all the friendship he extended to Rick.
May we all look back on the happy times and with the fondest of memories of our friend, Rick.
