It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Stacy Wayne Witts, who was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on February 21, 1980, and passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 46.
Stacy was a devoted father to Kendra, Kira, and Kayden Witts, who meant everything to him and brought great purpose and joy to his life, and is lovingly remembered by their mother, Melanie Wilson. He was also a proud grandfather to his granddaughter, Stella, who will grow up hearing stories shared about her grandfather.
Stacy is remembered by his father, Darrold Witts, and his late mother, Barbara Witts, as well as his sisters, Kimberly and Jennifer, and the many other family members who were part of his life throughout the years.
Stacy loved spending time with his friends and family and cherished the moments they shared together. He had a deep love for music and colouring, both of which brought him comfort and joy throughout his life.
His passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving a profound loss in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though his time here feels far too short, his memory lives on through the love, stories, and treasured moments he leaves behind.
Stacy will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

I was absolutely shocked to hear the news as Stacy and I had reconnected thanks to Melanie. I have so many great memories of Stacy as well as all you kids, he will be greatly missed.
