Reg Pastachak passed away peacefully at the age of 75 years on November 27, 2024 at the Norwood Hospice in Edmonton. Reg was a musician for most of his adult years. Reg spent many years playing at various locations throughout Alberta and BC. He retired from that profession in approximately 2015 however he still loved his music and the stories that went behind the songs. In his last couple of years Reg suffered with severe COPD issues and eventually succumbed to lung cancer. At Reg’s request his ashes will be scattered just off the coast of BC – the place he loved so much.
