Sharon passed away on October 19, 2023 surrounded by her daughters and favourite child, her son in law Ryan. She had a great sense of humour, which she maintained to her final moments. Mom lived life on her own terms, and often shared her signature
catchphrase DILLIGAF.
Sharon was born in Massachusetts and moved to Nova Scotia after graduation. She later moved to Alberta, and spent several years grandmothering her grandsons and instilling in them a love of sports which stemmed from her passion for baseball. She loved to spend time with her daughters and her friends who were like family. Some of her fondest
memories were camping and playing dice. Those that knew Mom, knew how much she loved babies and how thrilled she was as more grandchildren come along. At the time of her passing she was blessed to have 7 beloved grandchildren.
Sharon said she lived a good life and she wanted everyone to smile up to her final
moments. So if you’re drinking a warm Coors Lite or watching the Blue Jays, cheers Sharon.
My sincerest sympathies to all. I will cherish my memories of days gone by.
Thoughts and hug to Jody and family. Your mom sounded like a wonderful woman.
