Thomas (Tom) Prentice passed away peacefully at Westview Health Centre, Stony Plain AB, at the age of 96.
Tom and his wife, Barbara, were devoted to each other and
celebrated over 68 wonderful years of marriage. Together they moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 1966 from their homeland of Scotland. They enjoyed their time within the Scottish community and their church in Edmonton.
Tom was predeceased by Barbara in 2017; his parents Adam and Margaret Prentice; and his brothers Isaac and James Prentice. He is survived by son Alan (Lisa), Grandson Ryan (Brittany) and a niece and nephews in Scotland.
The family thanks the caring staff at Westview, and friends Nessie Baxter, Grant Nicol, Bonnie Westerman, Nancy Morban and the Hillman family. A private graveside
committal service for Tom to rejoin Barb will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
