Thomas Stewart Scott (Tom), 68, passed away on November 24, 2024, in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Tom was born at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton on April 14, 1956, to Marion and Jack Scott.
Tom had a deep love for horses at a young age and turned that passion and talent into being a formidable horse trainer of Arabian and Saddlebred horses. He moved to the United States where he practiced his trade and lifelong career and raised his family. He won many awards and earned a reputation of being a great horseman.
Tom is survived by the mother of his children and forever love, Nancy Scott of Princeton, Illinois, daughters Elizabeth Scott of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Leah Mishell Stocking (Jonathan) of Henderson, Kentucky; son Gregory of Dayton, Ohio; granddaughters: Annabelle Ostrander and Oakley Scott; grandsons: Presley Doom and Jack Stocking and his sister, JoAnne Wilson (John). He is also survived by his favorite aunt, Donna Robison and many cousins.
As requested by Tom, there will be no service.
He will be remembered as a father, grandfather and a horseman
