James (Jim) Robert Coutts

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jim Coutts announces his peaceful passing on April 26, 2026 (age 88), in the presence of loved ones.
Jim will be greatly missed and remembered by is wife of 42 years: Angela; 3 children: Alan (Roberta), Grant, Jessica (James); 5 grandchildren: Amanda (Brent), Brittany (Darian), Jacob (Christina), Danielle (Aaron), Alexander; 4 great grandchildren: Ariana, Raelyn, Mak, Wren; sisters Margret (Bill) and Ann (Dennis), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Olive and John.
A Celebration of Life will be held by his family on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1pm at Fulton Place Community League, 6115 Fulton Road, Edmonton.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the nurses, care teams, and staff at Capital Care Strathcona, for their compassion and care for Jim during his stay, and especially near the end when the care and compassion extended to Jim’s family as well.

    Jim was like a father to me as I tried to navigate through young adult hood and I will miss him dearly. I’m sure he is living his best eternal like playing with his model trains and making jokes like he loved to do .
